1. What is certified organic cotton?
"Certified Organic" means the item has been grown according to strict uniform standards that are verified by independent state or private organizations. Certification includes inspections of farm fields and processing facilities, detailed record keeping, and periodic testing of soil and water to ensure that growers and handlers are meeting the standards which have been set. (Organic Trade Association).
2. Why organic cotton vs conventional cotton?
Certified organic cotton must meet stringent guidelines and be grown in fields which have been pesticide-free for a minimum of 3 years. Organics are especially important for babies and children as they are more sensitive in general, and their systems are more susceptible to the health risks associated with chemicals and pesticides.
Conventional cotton uses approximately 25% of the world’s insecticides and more than 10% of the pesticides. It takes about 1/3 of a pound of chemicals (pesticides and fertilizers) to grow enough cotton to make one t-shirt.

3. Where are mixed baby greens' fabrics and products made?
Our fabric and products are all produced in the USA.
4. What is the dye process used to produce the colored fabrics?
All of our dyed fabrics use low impact fiber reactive dyes, which contain no heavy metals or toxic substances.
5. What's the deal with bamboo?
Bamboo fabric is naturally anti-bacterial, anti-microbial and hypoallergenic, characteristic that keep the fabric odor free. It is also highly absorbant and wicks moisture away 3 to 4 times faster than conventional cotton. Bamboo fabric helps to regulate body temperature, keeping you warmer in cool weather and cooler in warrmer temperatures.
Bamboo is the most prolific and fastest growing plant in the world and is grown without chemicals or pesticides.
6. Washing and care instructions
We always recommend earth friendly products such as Seventh Generation or Method products. Line drying is always best but, if tumble drying, use medium heat.
7. Sizing
Our sizes follow typical US sizing. Please expect minor shrinkage as our clothes are made of 100% organic cotton.

Fraud: We check all orders very carefully and do not ship orders until payment is cleared or authorized. Generally, we require all orders are shipped to the same address as that associated with the credit card. We also impose additional methods to prevent fraud with the latest technology available associated with online shopping. In addition, when you place an order your IP address, date, and time is collected. An IP address can be tracked to the computer used to place the order.

SSL ensures that communication, personal informationisnot tampered with during transmission. SSL encrypts or scrambles any information sent from you making it virtually impossible to tamper with. The information is unreadable should anyone try to intercept it.
Returns/Refunds:
We want you to be completely satisfied with your mixed baby greens purchase. If you are not satisfied, you may return your purchase in its unused and unwashed condition within 30 days of receipt for a full refund (less shipping). If there is a manufacturer's flaw on your mixed baby greens product, we will do an exchange plus we will pay for return shipping. We do not accept returns on items after 30 days, only exchanges. Original receipt required for returns.
Sales Tax: A sales tax of 8.25% will be charged to all orders shipped within California.
Shipping: Typically orders will ship within 48 hours (M-F). If there are exceptions to that schedule, we will contact the customerr. We are currently shipping via UPS Ground. Faster service by UPS is available for additional charge.
Special Offers: mixed baby greens will occasionally offer special promotional discounts and offers. To take advantage of special offers, discount codes must be entered during the check-out process. If the code is not entered, the discount will not be applied. Discounts cannot be applied after the order is placed.
